TORONTO – TSX Venture Exchange-listed Tirex Resources has engaged SRK Consulting to produce initial mineral resource estimates for the company's Mirdita project, in Albania.

The resource estimates will be compiled and reported in compliance with Canadian National Instrument 43-101.

Tirex's Mirdita property is a large land package with multiple historic zones on the property that host significant copper, zinc, gold and silver mineralization.

SRK has been mandated to complete mineral resource estimates for the deposits at Mirdita known as Koshaj, Gurthi South and Letitna.
