Kentucky Strip Mine Tour mountain top removal, big machines, trucks, bulldozers, tractors viewed from Robinson Forest's fire tower and inside the mine. Strip mine operations are taking place just outside of the Robinson Forest. Natural Resource Conservation & Management undergraduates see it first hand in this strip mine field study class.
